Sue Horenstein

Born February 10, 1953 at Doctors Hospital in San Jose, CA. She was the youngest of 3 children born to Larry and Anne Horenstein.  She lived in San Jose her entire life.  The first 45 years at her childhood home near Valley Fair. 

Sue had health issues throughout her life.  She died October 18, 2022 at Regional Medical Center in San Jose after a short hospital stay.

She attended Cory Elementary, Hoover Junior High and Lincoln High School in San Jose.   

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Horenstein in 1989 and mother, Anne Horenstein in 2001.

She is survived by her brother Bob Horenstein (Linda), and sister Louise Horenstein both of San Jose.

Additional survivors include nephew Jay Horenstein (Alicia) of Gilroy and niece Jenna Collen (Arian) of San Jose.  She was the Great Aunt of Sierra Wells (Jake) of Dripping Springs Texas, and Landon and Kylie Collen of San Jose.

Sue is remembered for her empathy for those less fortunate. Her love for those closest to her and family.  She especially loved diet soda with lots of ice and shopping.
