Edith “Edie” Margaret Peyghambary

Our Beloved, Edith “Edie” Margaret Peyghambary, was called home to be with her, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at the age of 82, Tuesday April 11, 2023.  She was born on June 11, 1940, in White Plains, New York.  She began a personal relationship with her Lord, Jesus Christ, in 1989, to which she devoted and committed the rest of her life.  She was preceded in death by her father, William Brian Nevins; husband, Ahmad Peyghambary; mother, Agnes Elizabeth Nevins and her brother, Herbert Vincent Nevins.

Edie was known by her family and friends to be strong, tenacious, kind, forgiving, a peacemaker and loved everyone unconditional.  One of Edie’s greatest passions was reading.  She spent many days reading her Bible, having quiet times with God and enjoying his creation, like the big green trees and the deer that were just outside her window in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Edie lived in Knoxville for approximately 4 years with her daughter, Kim and son-in-law, Robert Ford.  

Edie will be missed by her loved ones: Son, Nadar William Peyghambary and his wife, Deanna Peyghambary; son, Shaun Ahmad Peyghambary and his wife, Christine Peyghambary; daughter, Kim Evelyn Ford and her husband, Robert Ford; grandchildren, Emma and Ian Peyghambary, Kristen, and Dustin Ford; Aunt Judy Nevins; cousins, Jahan, Lilia, Ashley, Adam Abtahie, and extended great-grandchildren and family members.
